





GE in a partnership with Tatung hired me to design a next generation UI/UX for a television product they were developing. I was given free design reign to develop several concepts without any technical or hardware constraints. The design process was long stretching over a year with multiple milestones. We ended up designing for the time what was a unique quasi 3D navigational metaphor that lended itself to being easily re-branded for any content partner that may come on board. I needed to solve the challenge of designing content heavy screens for browsing, searching and buying content. This content ranged from movies, music, apps to personal photos etc. The final delivery was a fully functional prototype to be used for user testing and sales purposes.
